As it is no longer attached to the donor's scalp it no longer benefits from the natural transfer of oil and moisture that growing hair enjoys and therefore relies on suitable grooming products which must be applied by the wearer.
The hair must be kept clean and moisturised in order to maintain and enhance its superb quality. Air drying is highly recommended after washing and conditioning.
A few drops of alcohol free serums, glosses or very light oils are recommended between washes. Avoid usage of any other grooming products between washes.
Do not apply any heavy oils or proteins to your hair or scalp as these will weigh it down, restrict movement and encourage tangling. Heat protectant products are also recommended.
